Trip to Nepal

Today I have been to the dentist,and had 2 fillings replaced,. the dentist said I was very good.
Tomorrow Aileen and I are going to meet Lucy and Aldo at IKEA in Leeds,this was Lucy's idea,and I for one applaud her initiative.
On saturday I am flying to Kathmandu,I am 50 years old on March 29th,you see,and I feel the call of the Mountains again.
It is my intention to Trek around Annapurna,carrying my belongings on my back,I have hired a guide,but so far I have not managed to pursuade him to carry my things.
I hope to continue this narrative as I progress around the Annapurna Massife and post photographs for everyone to see.

Hello my darling,

I don't know if this will work,i.e. if I have got this blog-thing right. I am missing you terribly and finding it hard to think about anything but you! Got to get my work head on!

Its still freezing here-coldest recorded march. I'm going to visit Lucy today even tho its bank hol Monday as I have to see her cos I miss her.
nowt else to report. Hope and assume you are having a fantastic time now you've actually got there! I'm looking forward to your blog entries....

Listen, I'm not going to follow this blog if all the entries are lovey dovey soppy exchanges.

This expedition is about men risking life and limb to show they are real men who...... I dont know really. They are risking life and limb to show they can walk round a mountain cos it's there and they're getting old!

Future entries need to be restricted to the "I'm going to step outside now and I may be gone for some time" type.

Having said that, my monies on the fact that he's in some 5 Star Hotel in Florida with a snowy backdrop so he can post a few chilly looking pics. He is a Nicolson after all.

Happy Birthday!! Hope its a fantastic day.

I didn't know that blog entries were so public! eek! exposed as soppy...

So, here's the current news:

"Mike" project going fine. Blue orchid renewed contract -less days but solely Social Enterprise Advice (no start-up pressures!). I am now having a break - hurrah! Going to see lucy for a coupla days. She is blooming and is good fun about her incubation.

Then I'm going to visit other friends- Dr cath, sue etc and generally pottering about.

Anyway, life in Sale pretty much as it always is - its yours that's different - so get blogging!

I'm assuming that you are loving it by now-and are having/had a great birthday.

Missing you terribly...

Having a lovely birthday. Lunch with Friday group and chinese with the Joneses. Thanks for Debenhams voucher - and have had other vouchers to go with it.
