I am now in Pokhara, and have completed the 18 day journey.
I have walked over 200Km carrying 40lbs,over the highest mountain pass in the world (Throngla at 5416M) and through the deepest gorge in the world.
I spent 7 days over 3000M and slept 2 nights over 4500M,(-15C) gasping for Oxygen.
Right now the last thing I feel like doing, is anything, including typing this Blog.
Anyway, I started the trip in my late forties and finished it in my early fifties, and I for one, feel that a new age is upon us.
I made lots of notes during the trip which one day I will transcribe, but now, I am going back to bed.

Tomorrow Aileen and I are going to meet Lucy and Aldo at IKEA in Leeds, this was Lucy's idea, and I for one applaud her initiative.
On saturday I am flying to Kathmandu,I am 50 years old on March 29th,you see,and I feel the call of the Mountains again.
It is my intention to Trek around Annapurna, carrying my belongings on my back,I have hired a guide, but so far I have not managed to pursuade him to carry my things.
I hope to continue this narrative as I progress around the Annapurna Massife and post photographs for everyone to see.

Great!
